This magnificent English majolica pitcher/carafe dates from the 1940s and was created by the renowned English manufacturer Wedgwood. It bears a mark on the base: Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, Maiden in England. The entire pitcher is decorated with reliefs depicting bunches of grapes and vine leaves. It is a deep green with varying shades of light and dark. It is in superb vintage condition and has no chips or cracks.
