Dans les années 50-70, Longwy a cherché à moderniser son image et a proposé des designs plus Mid-Century modern et Pop art. Les caractéristiques de Valenti sont le fond noir, un noir profond qui met en valeur les couleurs vives de l’émail et es motifs floraux stylisés. Ce ne sont pas des fleurs botaniques classiques, mais des formes géométriques graphiques, presque explosives. These six antique plates are part of the "Grand Bouquet" series by the Belgian manufacturer Boch and feature a lovely, very floral blue pattern with a charming little drawing of a flying insect—even if you're not a fan of insects! This model has an unusual shape: they are the size of a dessert plate but deeper than usual. All six plates are in very good condition. One has a small chip on the rim, and another has a chip on the underside that is not visible when they are placed on the table.

Five splendid antique plates in perfect condition from the renowned French brand Pillivuyt, one of the oldest French porcelain manufacturers with 200 years of history. The factory is a true guardian of its artisanal expertise and has been recognized since 2009 as a Living Heritage Company (a label distinguishing French companies with authentic know-how). The Pillivuyt company bears the family name of its founder, Jean Louis Richard Pillivuyt. Richard Pillivuyt came from a family of Swiss bankers. Mr. Pillivuyt obtained French citizenship and partnered with a landowner from the town of Foëcy (Cher), Mr. Klein, to create the Pillivuyt factory. Pillivuyt remained a family business from its inception until the Second World War.
