Cup from the Pot-au-feu collection, 1970s, by the renowned French brand Arcopal. The mere mention of this French brand's name transports us to the heart of the seventies, even though it has existed since the late 1950s. This item is available individually! Click on 'quantity' and select the desired number. Arcopal's assembly process was a revolution in the industrial world of glassmaking. Opal, a resistant mineral, is combined with the raw material: glass. Their fusion is reinforced by a specific heat treatment called tempering, making the material three times stronger than conventionally manufactured glass and able to withstand sudden temperature changes. Arcopal tableware can therefore go from the refrigerator to the oven without any risk of shattering. The material is non-porous, making the containers perfectly hygienic.
