4 vintage white and floral Arcopal Tulip collection ramekins

    Description

Four splendid opaline glass ramekins made by the iconic French manufacturer Arcopal. This model is from the Lotus series, 1970s. We love them! Arcopal's assembly process was a revolution in the industrial world of glassmaking. Opal, a resistant mineral, is combined with the raw material: glass. Their fusion is reinforced by a specific heat treatment called tempering, making the material three times stronger than conventionally made glass and able to withstand sudden temperature changes. Arcopal tableware can therefore go from the refrigerator to the oven without any risk of shattering. The material is non-porous, making the containers perfectly hygienic.
