    This wonderful salad bowl from the renowned Arcopal factory features illustrations of vegetables such as carrots, onions, and artichokes, in vibrant colors and a retro style characteristic of the 70s and 80s. Arcopal's assembly process was revolutionary in the world of industrial glassmaking. Opal, a resistant mineral, is combined with the raw material: glass. Their fusion is strengthened by a specific heat treatment called tempering, making the material three times stronger than conventionally manufactured glass and able to withstand sudden temperature changes. Arcopal tableware can therefore go from the refrigerator to the oven without any risk of shattering. The material is non-porous, making the containers perfectly hygienic.
